UPDATE 12/08 — This film was made in March 2008, and since then my life has completely changed.  I no longer work with Liam, I’ve been diagnosed with (and beaten) leukemia, I don’t live on the West Coast…basically, anything you can think of, it’s different.  Wideshot Studios and I hope to/plan to team up in the future for a longer, more relevant documentary on “The Mixtress”.

As always, you’re captivating! Creative idea, well-executed directing, I’m shocked that this didn’t win the whole festival. But number 16 out of 122 films is damn impressive. Congratulations, and definitely on “Best Soundtrack” — Jules, you’ve done it again. Be proud, Mixtress. Looking forward to a extended version of this…when’s it coming?

    Hi Jules
I feel the same way about music you do.Theres a whole army of us mixmasters and mixtresses.
the feds should go after real criminals like child beaters, tax evaders, and the like.THE RIAA would have a hard time catching simple mixers all over the world.
